How much is it to call 0844 numbers?

I need to know the costs to call 08442001515 and 08444620620.
I should have free calls to 0845/0870 numbers, but I assume I still need to pay for 0844 calls.

I have just been told by customer service on the phone that it costs between 15p and 23p per minute to call 08442001515, and 17p per minute to call 08444620620.

I can not believe these 0844 numbers are preminum numbers as they say.
Can anyone confirm the charges please?:smileymad:

Re: How much is it to call 0844 numbers?

HI gooseinatree,

The calls to 0844200 numbers is a flat rate of 0.49p per minute daytime evening and weekend. These calls are subject to a 9.05p connection fee.

The 0844462 are again flat rate for daytime evening and weekend calls at 1.96p per minute, again subject to the 9.05p connection charge. The easiest method to use this document, as it is quite extensive, is to search for the first digits of the number you are looking for usuing the Ctrl+F function. I believe the 0844 entries being around page 35.

Full detials of these prices can be found on the Non Geographic Pricing Document on the TalkTalk website.

Cheers

Don't forget the website "saynoto0870" as you may find a geographical number to call which would reduce your TT costs.

Re: How much is it to call 0844 numbers?

Thanks for the input Tony G,

Obviously if you are able to obtain an alternative landline based number, you may be able to call the comapny via inclusive rather than chargeable calls.

Cheers
