Is there a new firmware or a beta version available for the HG533 router. It is currently running 1.14t which has caused a very unreliable connection, and seems to have stoppped Sipgate from working for incomming calls. Alternatively, how can I roll it back to a previous version so that it works again?

Are you having problems with drop-out in connection after approx 20 mins or so too? If you get a reply with potential Firmware fix can you let me know please. Although I have been told the D-Link Fibre router maybe better for certain wireless devices!

To be honest after the never ending issues I have had with my TT broadband the last time their tech guys came round the took my old DLINK router away nd replaced it with this HG533 router stating this would be the answer to the issues.. omg how I fell for that one... it did nothing to solve the issues except to hide all the endless error counts the line recieves - the DLINK had some useful stat software that could better highlight when things were being "possibly" throttled. The HG533 very conveniently shows nothing, which I guess is why they wanted to get the DLINK out asap.
To make matters worse the firmware for this router updated automatically and I too now have version 1.14t. With all the erratic disconnects I began to get after this update I decided to junk it and use my spare Linksys router... not had any mysterious DC's since, just the same old erratic line errors that have plagued the service I recieve for like 2+ yrs now.

I used the HG523a router for a very long time because it gave the best stability and speeds, I then changed to FTTC and I have never had a single problem with the HG533 so I must be one of the lucky ones as I have never had any problems with this router.
I have been accepted on the trial and am expecting the update Monday night, so I hope all goes well and my speeds etc stay the same, At the moment I am getting 37.79Mbps download which never changes.

I Have also been using this device for some time now without any problems, update took place as advertised.
No problems so far speed appears to be a little slower I will carry out some more speed test to confirm.
Every device I have tried so fare connects and works as expected.
I too have never had a problem with the router.
It has updated. No issues so far
Just waiting on the survey.

I see this trial is now closed, so has the speed drop off reported by a number of us, been resolved (further update to follow)?
Appreciate mine was minimal (and still is), but others seem to have had higher drop offs than I.

Not only is the trial closed but it seems that the firmware is now being pushed to all HG533 routers. I am currently visiting my son who has an HG533 router (but was not a triallist) and this afternoon I notice that it is running firmware v1.15t. We must assume that the trial was a success!
