I am running the DG8041W and experience intermittent resets. There seems to be no pattern to the drop-outs. Inspection of the log file shows:

1981-01-01 00:00:10 [Error][Alarm-Log] AlarmID:104001,AlarmLevel:Error,Device reset. Cause: System reset due to kernel panic, Terminal:OTHER

The router is running firmware v.1.05t

This is a known issue with firmware 1.05t, the staff here will be able to push firmware 1.06t to your router, that should resolve the problem.

They will hopefully be able to respond to this topic tomorrow to help.
