Does talktalk offer engineering services to install an ethernet cable at home? I would like to run a cable through the walls across from 1st to second floor. It's not long and it just goes from the phone line socket upstairs to the phone line socket downstairs.

I'm not sure to be honest, is the Ethernet cable to connect a laptop/PC to your router?

If the phone line sockets are connected to each other, then surely you could connect either to ethernet cables with a microfilter on each socket. That's more or less what I do with ethernet cable connected to PC upstairs. I ran the cable myself and connected to a phone socket. Someone more informed than me may well think differently, or maybe I'm on the wrong track completely.
