PORT FORDWARDING

i have the huawei dg8041w router.

When i go to User Device Information and select my device and then click port mapping i get an error.

The requested URL was not found on this server.

i dont get it.

i need to open ports 22 and 443.

Hi @stressedout2022

@Anonymous has asked me to help with your port forwarding. Alas at the moment there are a few ports including those, that the current firmware blocks you from forwarding. I have requested that all of these ports be allowed in the next firmware version, but I don't know when that will be. If you want, you could ask Michelle if she would consider replacing your WiFi hub with the Sagemcom WiFi Hub (near enough identical specification) & which will allow you to do what you want.

Thanks Keith I later found this Information and as such I have purchased another router.

Hopefully be plain sailing now.

That's a shame, I am sure TalkTalk would have swapped out your Huawei for the Sagemcom free of charge due to this firmware problem.
