Have you also tried factory resetting the router and then re-setting this up again?

Thanks

The router is connected to the computer through an eternetnet connection as is the TV and my Xbox. None of these devices can get an internet signal thorugh the ehternet cables. I have tried switching them round but nothing is effective. The router is ok in respect of a wi-fi signal that the computer has now defaulted to.

I did log into the router and it said that Port 1 was ok but that Ports 2,3, and 4 were down.

I have tried switching cables, turning things on/off, but the problem remains.

I am thinking that the router has developed a fault somewhere along the line although it is barely a couple of years old.

Any thoughts?

Is this directly with ethernet cables, or using powerline adapters?
