Hi ChrisCRA

Thanks for updating your Community Profile.

I've completed a line test which hasn't detected any faults - line test is clear.

Is the replacement router connected at the test socket? Did you use the new cables and filter?

Is there a light on the router?

Talk Talk have failed again!!!!! They installed Fibre 35 two months ago and the router failed. They sent me 3 new routers before I got one that worked. Service down for over 2 weeks.

The internet failed 7 days ago and Talk Talk have diagnosed the router AGAIN!!!!!! I have now been sent a new router and it still doesn't work!!!!

Internet still down - 1 week and counting. I am now totally stressed and furious with Talk Talk's so called Customer Service. I need to get out of this contract. Talk Talk are a disgrace!!!!!!

Added as requested. This needs to be sorted please. It cannot keep happening. Your support people told me (not for the first time) that Talk Talk have no end of problems connecting their router to city fibre in Milton Keynes. Vodophone installations with City Fibre are never a problem........WHY?????

Hi Chris,

So just to confirm, are you currently using your old FTTC connection?

If FTTP means Fibre to the Premises, then yes, i am using this connection. You say "old FTTC" in your text. This FTTP connection was NEW on 2nd February 2022 and didn't work for 2 weeks!!!! 4 routers later, you sent one that did. It seems the router has now failed again and a second router that you sent has also failed.

Your Tech people are now saying there is a problem with the software coding used by City Fibre, to connect their ONT to the Talk Talk router. Please confirm and when will you get it sorted!!!!!?????!!!!!

There is possibly some confusion as to the package here, @ChrisCRA.

Fibre35 is Fibre to the cabinet. The old copper line would still be in place. Can you explain the precise description of what you ordered?
