    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/496415"&gt;@moi99&lt;/a&gt;,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you connect a device (e.g. a laptop) to one of the Ethernet sockets on the back of your router using an Ethernet cable then in most cases the device will then use the Ethernet connection in preference to Wi-Fi automatically, so you should not have to do anything special, just connect the cable.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If your device is running windows you should then see the Wi-Fi icon in the system tray (near the clock) change to a different symbol.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
