    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Michelle,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My 35Mb broadband has suddenly dropped/and locked to: Line rate (kb/s): Down/Up: 16495/ 4296 (same issue Dec/Jan last).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Test socket, change cables, filters etc makes no difference. Minor line stats change by 0.1 db or so but line rate stays exactly (100%) the same (10 days,&amp;nbsp; 16 reboots, win10/7...never alters).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;TT Fix site says: &lt;EM&gt;The connection from our network to your home is showing Red status. We suspect an issue with your broadband &lt;STRONG&gt;.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It wants to do a line test but sticks needing my mobile number but there is no box to supply it, it is in My Account and the app. shows my acc. no.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Last time (Feb) it worked fine, line was clear, issue was kit at exchange. I'll stop and try posting pre spam limit?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Chris,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks for the reply&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;No other issues.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The clean line and absolutely locked speeds back last December was what led to conclusion that the fault lay at exchange level. Engineer went and fixed/reset whatever (got a text at the time) and all fine thereafter until now.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Something is controlling the line speed with absolute consistency regardless of the usual minor attenuation variations etc so I imagine either DLM has blinked (this made no difference last time) or the xch kit is bearing down.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The modem stats pasted in other post are reproducible every day: regardless of machine, cabling, filters, adding silly long extension cables etc most stats sometimes show 0.1db type variations but line rates are always fully locked, no variation... at all...ever (or less than 1 part in 16,000) i.e. a sophisticated lock (or a jolly fine impersonation thereof).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;PS What triggered the spam filter...length of post...boredom...?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;PPS What is&amp;nbsp; the problem re providing mobile number to online line checker? 3 browsers, no joy but back in Dec/Jan never noticed an issue.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;On reflection, some of the disconnection you mention might be er me...messing with kit and rebooting the modem.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'll leave it on 24/7 from now on but (apart from the line drop and reboot when the speed rest happened) it hasn't fallen over, that I've noticed, since fix in Feb and has been running at 35Mb consistent speed without fail.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;No messing, promise.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;I've re-checked the connection stats now and the connection looks stable, but the sync speed hasn't increased as yet. Would you like us to send a replacement router for testing purposes to see how the speed compares? We would also send a router returns bag so that one of the routers can be returned.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Rebooted with current semaphore model:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It claims: down/up (Mbps):&amp;nbsp; 33.97/9.77&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;TT Speed Test: 31.3/8.7&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So at least consistent.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Early part of TT line check is still says it has spotted an issue with my connection etc but since TT has decided to withhold part of the line test ( I'm pretty sure that the removal of the facility to input mobile number is a policy decision &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":disappointed_face:"&gt;😞&lt;/span&gt;&amp;nbsp; ) I can do no more.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;However connection may be on the mend.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Will post again when new whizzy router settled in... beginning to feel a bit like Christmas...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Michelle&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Old router was in fine form by time replacement arrived: up/down (Mbps) 39.9/9.8 from router line details.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;New Sagem job just says 40/10 on 'intro screen, after 2 days of DLM resets circa 2am. I can't find any detailed line data re bitrates, S/N margins etc.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;OOKLA online speed tester consistently (over a week): up/down (Mbps)&amp;nbsp; 37.4 +/- 0.1 and 9.4 +/- 0.2 (real world throughput?)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;TT speed testing is semi baffling: inconsistent, download speeds &lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;EM&gt;always&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt; way slower than OOKLA and I'm not certain whether it is actually measuring what it claims to! Typical figures: 31/9...'poor', 28/9...
