We've had this text message from 07378 905544, is this a legitimate message from TalkTalk?

TalkTalk Order Update: Hello, we've scheduled an engineer appointment for 28/01/2023 between 13:00 and 18:00. If you need to change the appointment, please reply to this message by 4pm the working day before. We're here to help Mon to Sat 8am - 8pm.

Yes - I've been called by that number whenever I have needed an engineer, and it was interactive. Was able to text back to query something, @LShone.

Have you made an order to upgrade to Future fibre?

The message may be from Openreach or City fibre or one of their outsourced engineer firms. If you have, and wish to change it reply, or contact the future fibre team.

Thank you for the messages back, we've not ordered anything but CityFibre were outside the house in November, how do I cancel this engineer appointment? The text message sends to TalkTalk chat, which department deals with it? Thank you

If it's not appropriate, they should put you through to the right department anyway.

Hello, Thank you I've tried on TalkTalk chat but they couldn't help, and have been on the phone to different departments for an hour before they hung up on me.
