I was out during the installation so I couldn't ask the engineer. I used to have virgin so I'm used to one box for both modem and router. Why does talktalk have two boxes and can I change it myself to one box by buying my own combined box?</P><P>Secondly, the engineer put in a new wall socket for the modem to connect to the internet cable. It sticks out from the wall a good 2 and a half inches and the cable after that even more, meaning my furniture in front of it now needs to be a good 4 or 5 inches from the wall.
