      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have had no Internet since Friday. I ha e tried all the obligatory resets and switch off instructions but no avail. On rechecking the my connection it said that it was fixed. But no it's not! How long do I wait for a refund as its now eating away at my study time!&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;After the incident is resolved, automatic compensation is awarded for complete loss of service but you'd need to wait about a month before chasing it up, if it failed to show.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;If you check the Ts&amp;amp;Cs (link at the foot of the page) you can see the limits of Talktalk's liability. This is the contract you signed up to as a residential customer.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;I'm sorry to hear this.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I have escalated this fault to Openreach to be investigated by a line engineer.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I will continue to monitor for additional updates and I will post back on this thread.&lt;/P&gt;
