I've just moved into a house on the Lower Bristol Road.

I've never been with TalkTalk and they are one of the cheapest broadband providers I can see right now for ultrafast fibre. They also offer a wifi 6 eero router and cashback, so I'm leaning towards signing up with them.

My concern is that I'm living in a dense area with a lot of students. When I use to be a student I regretted going for the cheapest (Virgin) broadband provider due to competition with other students for bandwidth, and it was unusable.

Where I live is not currently supplied by the likes of Truespeed/Hyperoptic/etc it seems.

Should I be concerned with the reliability of TalkTalk in Bath or are congestion issues a thing of the past?

Glad to hear you're considering joining TalkTalk. Have you been given a minimum guaranteed speed?

Chris
