No WiFi connection on work laptop at home

Over night on Monday my work laptop stopped working on my home WiFi. All other devices in my household connect fine but work laptop doesn’t. My works IT people have checked my laptop and in connects on other service providers. I need this connection to work. Please explain why this has happened. I use a vpn to access work but am unable to do so because no other internet connection on work laptop.

Apologies for this. I will need to make a change to your router firmware.

Will it be ok if I update your firmware this morning? We advise to leave the router switched on without being rebooted whilst we update the firmware.
