      <title>PPTP-VPN CONNECTION</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Good afternoon, my IT has confirm we have a&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;PPTP VPN server at work and I'm unable to connect to work from home. I have called numerous times and no one has actually provided a solution that works and have been hang up the call a few times.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;So from reading this forum I either need an update of my firmware&amp;nbsp; like this person had&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Fibre/VPN-stopped-working/td-p/2889120" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Fibre/VPN-stopped-working/td-p/2889120&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Or like this other person I would need a new router as i have the exact same problem&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Broadband/PPTP-VPN-Outbound-stopped-working/td-p/2838346" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Broadband/PPTP-VPN-Outbound-stopped-working/td-p/2838346&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Router is - Sagemcom&amp;nbsp;FAST5364 3.00&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Please advise as this is getting urgent and fustrating knowing is a well knowed error with your routers and no one within the company seems to be able to help&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You are unlikely to need another one immediately, so checking the firmware will be the priority.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Leave the router switched on at all times unless staff tell you otherwise. They'll check when they reach your thread and sometimes start work very early in the morning.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
