Change Device to Run on 2.4 GhZ

The South African Call Centre people seem really inadequately trained. The time wasted this week on speaking to people who clearly don't know about Routers is shameful.

Easy Question - I have different devices running some on 2.4ghz and some on 5. I want to change one device from 5GhZ to 2.4 - how do I do this?

Have logged in to the router but I can't work it out and the call centre operatives are equally clueless.
