      <title>Internet constantly dropping</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm in the S8 area of Sheffield and for over a week now we have been losing the internet. Then it will reconnect.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When I run the network test it detects a problem with the broadband and produces a fault report.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then it gets fixed and is fine for a while but then goes again and the cycle repeats.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;I'm sorry to hear that your connection is unstable and I'll take a look now. I've run a test on the line which is clear and I can see 2 re-connections over the last 5 days. Would you say that the connection has been dropping more often than this? Is your voice service ok with no noise on the line? Does your main socket also have a test socket please?&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Michelle, yes the connection has been dropping more than this. It may only be for a short period but there are way more than 2 re-connections. The longest period of disconnection has been over 24 hours. This was last weekend not the one just gone.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The family report that it keeps dropping. The Router seems fine (it's new anyway). The couple of times I've reported the fault, the diagnostic check says there is a problem with the broadband between our home and the exchange.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We never use the landline but it has a dialling tone.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
