RECENTLY GETTING "SECURE CONNECTION FAILED" ON FORMS.GLE (GOOGLE FORMS) LINKS

Recently, I have been unable to access Google forms links.

For example,

https://forms.gle/WwKENyjSkLjbjD7x6

Errors vary across browsers and devices, and they have been detailed in this other post.

I am opening a new post because apparently that's the only way to get TalkTalk to fix this for everybody.

Reportedly, the problem lies in the HomeSafe/Scam Protection feature of TalkTalk's router.

There are a couple of known work-arounds:

Disable HomeSafe/Scam Protection (as detailed in the post linked above)
Bypass the TalkTalk router altogether. This can be done by using a different internet connection, for example:
- by temporarily disabling WiFi on your phone, or
- simply switching off the TalkTalk router and accessing the Google Forms link on your phone
