Hello,

I have 8 wired devices connected to my DG8041W-2T5 router via powerline adaptors. Logging into the router and checking the wired connections only 3 are named the others are just dashes. I recently needed to enter the IP address of 1 device to be able to get it to connect to my phone but as it wasn’t named I ended up disconnecting the devices one at a time until I found the correct IP address for that device.

Is there a way of manually entering a name for each connected device?

Yes, there is.

Go into Advanced mode & from there go to System Information > User Device Information.

Go into Details & set the device name in the User Alias box.

To answer your question log into the router, click on:-

Dashboard > Manage My Devices > Manage advanced settings

Anything else please create a new thread of your own, you cannot use someone else's thread.
