topic modem mode in Broadband

I'm thinking about moving over to the Fibre 150 package from Virgin and I see the router supplied will be an Eero. Can this be put into Modem mode like my Virgin router? I currently have my own setup behind the Virgin modem and it works well, i don't want to disrupt it as i work from home and VPN etc is very important.

I believe the eero router sits directly on the ONT (Optical Network Terminal). I'm still waiting for my connection but read a number of articles on it. Bear in mind that after the contract, I believe the routers are only usable with TalkTalk if ever you plan to move away.

Hi jblackstock,

Glad to hear that you're thinking of joining us. If you currently have a router/hub you should be able to connect this directly to the ONT.
