Posting back a router

We have been sent a new router for the City Fibre, fibre system, but a) the City Fibre engineers couldn't fit the new system due to our house being a 1930s semi with a porch and B) the router is the wrong one, doesn't have enough ports for our landline. We've been sent packaging to return it within 14 days, but we are away and not back within the time limit. Please can anyone advise. Thank you.

I'm sorry to hear that City Fibre can't install your service. Could you just return the router when you are back.
