My contract ends 05/02/2024.

do I need to give notice of any kind ?

If you wait till the final month there shouldn't be early termination fees, but it's probably worth waiting until you receive their renewal offers by email before making any decisions. Also check out special offers on TT's own website and comparison websites.

To simply cancel you must phone.

Renewals may be negotiated via Chat.

My Account offers tend to include extras that you may not actually want.

You can also simply stay on a rolling contract which kicks in automatically from the expiry date of your current contract.
