It is generally only out for a small period of time when it goes. Out for long enough to disconnect a game, amazon echo to stop playing music and tell you that the device is offline. Then it comes back on and maybe won't happen again for hours or even the next day, that is where the problem lies when tested the results could come back as there is no problem

My connection keeps dropping (amazon echo stops playing, xbox disconnects when playing online, firestick stops and goes back to home screen not available etc.) and openreach has been out twice and say there is nothing wrong with my line. They said on last visit they would get in touch with talktalk and order a new router as it is the only explanation as to why this is happening. I have heard nothing, how do I go about ordering one?

Sorry for the delay.

I've ordered the router for you, please allow 24-48hrs for this to arrive.

Let us know how the connection compares with this router.

Thanks
