End of BT lines

Can anybody tell me what plans TalkTalk have for when the analogue BT lines are ditched by Dec 2025? Do they intend to team up with existing fibre-optic providers, and if so is there a timescale and plan we customers can see? Thanks.

Hi Tony,

Openreach and other Alt Nets are currently in the process of upgrading/laying new FTTP cabling which will be able to provide VOIP. We are currently offering VOIP/Digital Voice in certain areas which are already upgraded to FTTP.

Thanks for that. Our entire area has recently undergone a massive fibre laying development by GigaNet. Where the infrastructure exists will you be able to use it for Broadband, etc, or will you still lay your own? Thanks.

Hi Tony,

The FTTP cabling will be laid/upgraded by other Alt Nets for example, Openreach, CityFibre, Freedom Fibre, etc. Are you currently a TalkTalk customer?
