slow speeds only 1mb guaranteed

I have been with talk talk/tiscali for 20 years there is No fibre available at my location.

My contract ends in July, I would like to keep my email address but as websites seem to require more and more speed /data I find that 1mb is now insufficient to do simple things like online banking/shopping, never mind watching tv. I am therefore stuck in a contract that does not meet my needs. Therefore it appears that I will have to cancel and lose my email.

I notice that Talktalk are now offering Mobile via Vodaphone and that 4g is currently available in my location. If I cancelled my broadband and took out a contract for Talktalk Mobile would I be able to keep my email address.

Is 4g sufficient for watching films etc.
