Hi

I was very recently transferred from shell to talk talk . Since then my broadband speed ha been consistently 1-6 mbps !!!!. I have had numerous conversations with every department at talk talk with no joy. Despite the fact that my neighbour and my sister a street away gets in the region of 35 Mbps on copper cable talk talk say they can not upgrade my old faster broadband package. Despite the fact that fibre infrastructure has been installed in my area and other providers have confirmed they can provide same talk talk say it's not available. Finally despite the fact that they are clearly not providing the level of service I'm paying for I may have to pay a large fee to cancel my contract

Has anyone any comments or had similar experienced

Regards Roger

Hi @rbbrown2448

Does this affect wired (Ethernet) devices as well as wireless-connected ones? I assume that you are using a Shell router, which I will not have seen. If you log into this router, does it display the internet speed anywhere that it is detecting, if so what is it? Is that about right for your package?

When you can answer the questions above, hopefully I can help you.

The information below is provided by TalkTalk, for confirmation please contact @Debbie-TalkTalk or@Michelle-TalkTalk.

KeithFrench is one of our valued Community Stars and can help with a range of issues related to wireless and networking. At times he may ask you to send him test results via a Private Message to help analyse/diagnose an issue. Although Keith does not work for TalkTalk, he very kindly shares his time and knowledge to help with others.

If you need further help or, if we need to take any details such as personal information about your account like phone numbers, account numbers etc. one of the TalkTalk team will jump in and help out.

Hi rbbrown2448,

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing problems with your telephone service. Could you just check and confirm that the telephone number in your community profile is your current TalkTalk landline number

Thanks

Chris
