Cant Connect to Wifi from work computer after firmware update

I have not been able to connect to our TalkTalk wifi since mid September on my work laptop. I have multiple calls with the IT dept and they said its nothing they have changed or can fix, and that talk talk have rolled out a firmware update that is creating the issue. Can this be revered for my account please
