@Anonymous has asked me to help you & it sounds like they are not configured correctly. Please can you confirm exactly how you have the two HG633's connected together and give me screenshots of the IP configuration of the two routers (PM the screenshots to me if you prefer).

Hi all, I am looking for advice on how to stop my computer finding my second modem which is being used as a WiFi extender and the message coming up that I am not connected to the internet.

I have two TalkTalk routers (Huawei HG633) the second router I have setup according to the instructions found on this forum.

The main changes on the second router being to turn off DHCP and change the IP address but the computer finds the second router and I get the TalkTalk message that I am not connected to the internet and it has the IP address of the second router.

The second router's IP address is within the scope of the first router's DHCP server, which is wrong. If you want to keep that address, then the lower end of IP address range needs to be at least .13 not .2. Which LAN port of each router is the connection between, so as I can see if that link is up or not?
