Are you using the WiFi password rather than the router password? Is the iPhone seeing the network name OK? Try "forgetting" it and then search for it again.

Thanks

Thanks all - I've turned the phone off and on again, turned the router off and on again (had to wait until himself had finished watching the football!); reentered the password which Ive always used. I'm wondering if its my phone sim card as its now not picking up off the network, so I'm going to put the sim in another phone and see what happens there. Thanks for all your help, first time I've used this forum for donkey's years and so helpful all, really appreciated, and if any other thoughts come to mind I'd be grateful.

I think I've fixed it - I found a little button on the side of the router WPS (??) and pressed it and it seems to work now. I think the other day when I dusted the router I might have pressed that little button by accident. Moral is - don't dust !

Thanks all
