If you want help, you cannot use someone else's thread.

To get help, you must start your own thread. To create your own thread, go to the main page for the board in question & click the "Start a topic" button.

TalkTalk insists on one thread per problem per customer. Please note, TalkTalk makes the rules, not me.

Thanks.

My IT support at work needs to remote onto my Mac laptop but TalkTalk blocks TeamViewer. How can I either unblock it or allow them access?

Scam Protection is part of HomeSafe. The Homesafe settings can now be managed yourself, from within MyAccount, please follow the below steps to disable scam protection on your line:

1. Log into MyAccount
2. Select My Services
3. Select View HomeSafe settings
4. Go to the Scam Protection section
5. Select OFF and confirm when you see the pop up window

Thanks

Hi,

I have this issue also but all my protection settings are switched off and still no fix. I am also being forced into safe search.

Anything to do with teamviewer is being blocked (app, website etc). All allowed on firewall and all safe search settings are disabled. Is there a way to fix this?

Hi, thanks for your reply.

I was fortunate and managed to get a software engineer to help. The DNS on my router had been changed to TalkTalk's DNS server, this happened randomly. It has now been changed to cloudlfare and the problem has been solved.

I suspect there is a bug with the router software as this should not have occured.
