Hi Debbie ,

The other connected devices are an Iphone 10, iphone 6 and Apple TV . I haven't noticed it on these devices . I don't use many web based tools on the iphone - all most all my usage would be via apps not Safari websites. Trying to access this webboard via my TalKTalk account login a few minutes ago to reply to you is an example of what happens . After password input etc the screen went completely blank bar the Edge toolbar . I waited several seconds - nothing . Refresh 1 just gave me the top cm or so of the TT webpage - "TalkTalk for everyone' and a little icon for me on the right - the rest of the page completely blank . Refresh 2 - gave me 'Oops etc' cannot connect to your account right now or similar. The links at the bottom of the page were now visible and working .

For the last several weeks I have been getting corrupt and incomplete loading of webpages . This has affected both Edge and Chrome ( I use both ). The formatting is all over the place or the page is completely blank - with the little spinning circle. A straightforward refresh usually fixes the issue.

My suspicion is this is a few seconds of line drop or high line noise rather than a software issue. Some while ago (and well before the webpage issue) I rerouted my powerline ( network over the electricity supply ) via an extension lead - which has reduced speed to my device. I could rewire as a direct ethernet connection or try wi-fi but can accept the speed drop to my device as it stands.

My line speed as reported to the router is well over spec but I notice line drop / noise are no longer part of the now slimmed down connection test .

Any suggestions as to what is going on ?

I'm sorry to hear this. Is this happening on all devices that are connected to your line?

I wonder whether this is issue is software after all - I use Adblock Plus both in Edge and Chrome. I will try disabling it and see if that makes a difference.

Disabling Adblock has made no difference - I am still getting incomplete webpages ( which eventually format properly after one or two refreshes ) . Last night Apple TV via wi-fi halted during a program with an error message saying extensive buffering was occurring - the show re-commenced after a few seconds. I have switched my PC across to wi-fi from Powerline which has improved speeds to that device as expected but almost immediately TalkTalk's very own website didn't load properly - all the format is lost and all I get is a page of text down the left hand side . I think the issue is excessive line noise but the TT connection test widget no longer reports this . Can you see this from your side ?
