      <description>&lt;P&gt;They seem to be charging for these unless you are in the last 4 months of your contract, &lt;a href="https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/891041"&gt;@MARK1966&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Routers are only replaced for free if the current one is faulty and best done via the forum as sometimes other support applies a delivery charge.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Talktalk was legally required to inform you that the router would not be updated, but if it hadn't developed a fault, the replacement was not essential.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Additionally, charges may not apply in cases of upgrades or recontracting, but only if the router is included as part of that upgrade or recontract.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
