&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class="cf0"&gt;About 27 June I upgraded my Part-Fibre contract from Fibre 35 to Fibre 65.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class="cf0"&gt;I am now only achieving a download speed of about 31Mb/s, compared to the guaranteed minimum of 45.4Mb/s&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class="cf0"&gt;This is a bit disappointing. I was regularly seeing 37Mb/s on Fibre 35.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class="cf0"&gt;My router is connected to the test socket. I am not experiencing noise on the landline.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class="cf0"&gt;What does it look like from your side? &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class="cf0"&gt;2.4GHz Wi-Fi on channel 6. 5Ghz Wi-fi on channel 104. No other wi-fi sources in range.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Okay noted, so the issue occurs in one location in your house?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I need to establish if the problem is a general WiFi or Broadband issue, or if it's potentially a coverage issue. If the problem only occurs in places that may be further from the router, or are blocked by walls, doors or windows, then it's likely the issue is related to the WiFi signal not being strong enough where you experience the problem.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

This PC has been sitting in this location with this router for 3 years, While I was on Fibre 35 speed tests regularly showed 37Mb/s. It is currently reporting about 31 Mb/s. I can run a speed test with and iPad or an Android phone at various locations, but the key point is that when in same room as router the same speed (~31Mb/s) is experienced.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class="cf0"&gt;I have scanned for possible conflicting Wi-Fi networks, and in my location in a detached house, there are no other routers in range. I think the speed reduction is in the network somewhere, not local.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;This speed reduction is noticeable in all areas. Both fixed PCs, and both mobile devices when in same room as router.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Just ran it again the other PC and it scraped 33.6Mb/s which is still well below the guaranteed minimum.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

After Fibre 65 went live my download speed went up above the published minimum, as expected. Now it has gone down below the level experienced for over 6 years on the Fibre 35 package. Both the &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN class="cf0"&gt;inSSIDer&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN class="cf0"&gt; Home on the PC and Net Analyzer on the Android phone are giving good signal levels for wi-fi. More likely there is some degradation of the copper between me and the Fibre cabinet. It's not good that TT want to upsell a product instead of solve a technical problem.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;!--EndFragment --&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
