Replacement TV box

Hi,

After a lightning strike today the Talk Talk TV box immediately went down. I've tried powering it down for 2 mins and re-starting, but nothing at all from it. I checked the power socket and its able to power other devices. I think the box is toast.

How to I get a replacement TT box ?

Sadly that type of box is no longer available. Assuming you are a TalkTalk TV subscriber they can send you a new box, but because it has a single tuner it has limited recoding functionality and then only if you supply your own USB memory stick, although these can be sourced quite cheaply.

You can either contact customer services directly via the usual channels, or wait for the support team here to pick this up when they are back online from Monday.

Can I just confirm, have you been able to contact our Customer Services Team since your last post? As advised, we are no longer able to provide the recordable tv box.
