&lt;P&gt;Try a &lt;A href="http://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Community-Help-Articles-beta/Huawei-YouView-Maintenance-Mode/ta-p/1429347" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color:#0000ff;"&gt;&lt;U&gt;Youview Maintenance Reset&lt;/U&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/A&gt; &amp;nbsp;and see if this resolves. &amp;nbsp;If not, then you may need to try a full factory reset however this will clear the hard drive and set this back up.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;A programmed recording has run but returns a black screen (ie no picture or sound).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you try to record a terrestrial TV programme whilst watching an App programme (eg in my case Neighbours on Prime) Youview registers a recording that when you try to play has no picture or sound.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Has anyone else experienced this?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
