New 4k tv box recording

Hi I have just upgraded to the new 4k box, is it just me or is it a load of rubbish. You can only record 1 thing at a time that’s if it catches the whole program!!
any advice would be gratefully received

The box is basically a streaming box with a tuner and limited recording facility as you have found.

This has been a common complaint since it was introduced.

TalkTalk have not supplied a fully recording box for 3 years now.

There are no workarounds to recording. Advice is to buy and aerial splitter and cable to have separate feeds to the box and TV so you can watch a TV channel whilst recording another on the box.
