BBC HD only from 8/1/24

I have just seen that BBC is going to show HD only from 8th January 2024 for some channels. I have no idea if I have or can get this. I don't know how to tell which talktalk box I have and my tv is over 4 years old probably more. I tried chat with the bot but that was no good. Any ideas?

The information you have seen is relevant only to BBC reception via Freesat satellite delivered channels.

TalkTalk YouView TV Boxes are not impacted by the loss of Standard Definition channels via Freesat satellite services. Any TalkTalk customers that were provided with a Humax 4K TV Box for reception via satellite are also not impacted as these TV boxes offer BBC channels via High Definition (HD).
