My new talk talk tv box isn’t showing bbc on the guide so I can’t access bbc unless I use the iPlayer app

Are the channels showing on your TV tuner? If not then you may have an aerial issue and will need to consult a local aerial installer.

It may also be the effects on weather conditions as this can cause interference.

If the TV has the channels then perform a return. It's best to remove the aerial first and return which will clear any memory the box may hold. Then return with the aerial reconnected.

If this still doesn't work, then try a factory reset.

As fr8ys advises, check the reception directly on the TV to see if the channels are having issues.

The recent storms over the festive period have been playing havoc in many regions. Here in the North west, I'm having issues with a number of channels coming and going directly on my TV due to poor signal strength from the transmitters due to the weather.
