The source button fails to do anything. All ok if I use my TV controller and not the one sent with talk talk box.

The remote can be paired with most TV's but cannot be guaranteed to work with every model. Check you have paired the remote correctly

TalkTalk Remote Control Guide - TalkTalk Help & Support

The source button will usually switch between HDMI sources on the TV, but if this does fail to work correctly for your model of TV, then it may not yet be supported.

Hey! Thank you so so much. Eventually worked my way through the settings menu/accessories and have successfully paired my handset full function!!

I also bluetoothed my mobile. Great help....
