Rubber on back of remote sticky

Hello,

I've noticed that the back of my remote for the TalkTalk TV box has been turning more sticky, I think the coating on the back and sides has degraded for some reason, the top is perfectly fine. I noticed another member had the same issue last year and I was wondering if it is possible to get a replacement?

@Karl-TalkTalk perhaps you can assist as you helped on the other thread? Thanks.

You can clean the back of the remote with a little nail varnish remover or I recently cleaned a remote of mine for an older HiFi with a little hand sanitiser and a cloth, that restored the plastic of the remote.
