Is the box direct to the router with a cable or do you use powerline adapters ?

Both methods. First experience with powerline adapters so everything carefully checked, including router. When that had no effect Cat 6 cable used from router to Youview box. Streaming unavailable whatever I did. Even left everything on overnight to ensure updates could down load.

TV service from aerial via box through connection unaffected.

Note that TV & box power supplies share a common extension which is switched off when power is not required.

You can try a full reset of the box via a Youview Maintenance Reset

If this does not restore the connection and the box has failed, then it cannot be repaired or replaced.

TalkTalk stopped providing these boxes over 3 years ago now and these boxes are now unavailable.
