Why don't ITV channels appear in the TV Guide

I can get all channels if I input the channel numbers but lots of channels including all ITV channels do not appear in the TV Guide which it makes it difficult to select a channel I don't know the channel number of.

Help!

Have you tried retuning the channels. Try without the aerial in to clear the memory, then insert the aerial and retune.

Let us know how you get on and which box you have so we can offer more detailed advice.

I have rescanned without the aerial then rescanned with the aerial. I have 178 channels but still ITV and many others do not appear in the TV Guide. In the TV Guide the channel numbers go 1, 2, 9, 23, 201 - 204, 611 etc.

Very briefly a message popped up across the bottom of the screen saying 'ITV is locked, programmes cannot be displayed' . So how do I unlock it? And how did it get locked?

The box is a Netgem 4k box Product No. on the receipt from TalkTalk is : NGTVNETBOX4KN

On the bottom of the box itself is the number: N7950-T2C-8-AB2

Next option, try a full reset of the box. Press the button on the left side of the box 5 times to initiate a full reset. Set the box back up and see if the channels return.

Go back through the thread and you will see that Karl explained how to do a reset. If that doesn't work, then start your own topic.
