Hi, I have now found I cannot get ITVX! This box is great as I can actually record something for a series. I understand that you can't do this with the new boxes. (from what I have read). So I won't be getting rid of it soon but help please how to be able to get ITVX. I have one episode I forgot to record. Would I be able to turn off the TT box for a while and use the tv for ITVX. Oh dear why can't things be left alone if they work??? Unless there is a TT box which will record beforehand and get ITVX. Hope you can help. Thanks ever so.

The DN372T has long since been discontinued, so you will not be able to get ITVX on it.

Hi Diane

ITV made the decision not to bring the new ITV X App to some older devices, and this also includes the legacy TalkTalk TV Boxes. This was a decision solely by ITV and outside of our control.

Thank you Keith I know I am unable to get this on my box. I just wondered if I disconnected the box, for a while, could I get ITVX on the tv itself. I used to use the tv without the TTbox initially.

Thank you also Karl I will have to see if the Hub is suitable. How much would that cost if it is. and allows me to record.

Does the TV have the ITVX player, if so, then yes.

Hi Diane,

TalkTalk no longer supply a recordable box, as the majority of content is available on demand.

This is the direction the industry as a whole is heading, with more and more content available to stream, over the next couple of years, most providers will remove recordable boxes in favour of smaller and more reliable streaming boxes.
