Does this mean I have to go through BBC iplayer and ITV x apps to get regional programmes? I've got Sony android TV which already gives me access to the apps and regional TV. . Not sure what TalkTalk TV hub will provide over and above what I can get from my TV already.

Does the Hub allow you to choose which region for BBC and ITV you receive? Sky does this by using your post code, whereas normal digital TV through the aerial uses whichever transmitter you are tuned to. If the Hub is totally internet based then I imagine you can but if channel 101 (BBC1) on the Hub comes through the aerial, then probably not. Can't get any sensible answers through talktalk. Surprise, Surprise!

Hi

The TV Channels for the TV Hub are freeview based, delivered over the air via aerial.

On demand players will use the freeview signal to identify your region and deliver the correct programming.

Thanks

Karl.

Hi

The ITV X / Iplayer App on the TV Hub will receive regional content based on your current location / Transmitter similar to your TV.
