All channels except BBC have disappeared and retuning only returns 26 BBC channels. ITV, and all others channels have gone.

What box do you have?

What happens if you remove the aerial and plug directly into the TV and retune this? Do you get all channels?

Try retuning the box with the aerial out of the box to clear the memory then try again with the aerial in. Any change?

I have a you view box with record facilities.

Aerial direct to tv, no channels at all.

Aerial to tv box, 26 channels, all BBC only.

Sorry, forgot, also cleared with aerial out of box, retuned with aerial in, 26 BBC channels only.

If you are getting nothing on your TV it sounds like your aerial has failed.

You should consult a local aerial installer to check.

Glad the channels have returned.

There can sometimes be localised issues with a transmitter. You can check online if there are further issues at :

Everything is now working OK.

We booked an Aerial Engineer for this morning and our problem was damp getting into something (splitter ?) on our existing aerial.

We decided on a new aerial with signal amplifier. All channels working fine with almost perfect signal strength and picture quality.
