The strange thing is the ads always play. It's never that server that fails.

When using MY5 to view a programme the screen tends to freeze (with a blank screen) during advert break, resulting in having to restart the programme. Does any one else have this issue?

This is a well known issue that affects ITV C4 and MY5 at times

it stems from the programmes being on a different server to the adverts. The system doesn't always feed back to the programme after showing ads.

this is not a TalkTalk issue as it affects many devices, and the app owners, sometimes make tweeks that fixes one version of their app, but then affects an app on another device.

sometimes resetting the box can help as it downloads the latest version of the app. You can try that if you wish and maybe contact the app owner via their website and give them details of the device you have and the show you were watching.

there is nothing they can do. You need to contact My5 to report this.
