Hi,

Does anyone know if the old you view boxes work with a smart tv. As I don't want to lose the record function but I want to be able to watch netflix, if I get a smart tv that has the app on will the old box connect to it and keep the record function ?

The old box will connect to a smart TV via HDMI and still record freeview channels provided it has an aerial plugged in.

Yes the box has an aerial plugged in, so just connected the tv to the box and then I will have both functions?

Yes, you can watch apps such as Netflix directly on the smart TV, and record freeview channels on the TalkTalk TV Box.
