You can't. Apps are preset by YouView and new apps only added if the App owner, in this case Apple, create a specific app that is compatible with older YouView boxes.

Apple tv is not available via the youview box.

Are there any plans for Apple TV to be available on TalkTalk?

Or do I have to move from TalkTalk to watch Apple TV?

There are no plans to add Apple TV as a direct subscription via TalkTalk billing, but if you have the TalkTalk TV HUB, you can install the Apple TV App from the Google playstore.

If you have your own subscription to Apple TV, you can then watch via the app.

You use the play store to find the hub.

A quick way to get to your installed apps is the press and hold the home button.
