The Hub

With no access to ITV x on 24/10/24 I agreed to have a new box, the hub which arrived on 26/10/24. Since installing it I have all the usual apps- ITVx, 4, 5 ,etc, and their programmes are accessible, but I cannot receive any programmes via the BBC iPlayer. Programmes are offered and once chosen try for a long time to load but fail, a message appearing saying "this is usually a temporary problem" and advises checking internet connection, or changing the video quality in settins. I have tried everything including help from TalkTalk technical experts and have resorted to restoring factory settings 3 times but all to no avail. By 1/11/24 after hours ofnone helpful chat I asked for information on how and where to return the Hub . Now 5/11/24 I am awaaitin some packaging but in the meantime continue to try to get the iPlayer to produce a requested programme, but with no success. Has anyone an answer please?

I have a BBC account. I have an un-Smart Samsung TV. sothat may be the problem. But all the other apps work so why not the IPlayer?

Hi Seamus7

When you launch Iplayer, what specific error do you see?
