All my Freeview channels start at 800 with BBC1. They should start at 1. It means I can’t just put in a number, 20 for example for Drama. How has this happened and how can I adjust it back?

Which box to you have?

Have you tried returning the box? First do it with the aerial taken out of the box. This should give you 0 channels but will remove any residual memory the box may have. Now replace the aerial and try again.

Having channels only in the 800 range often signifys an aerial issue. Do you get all channels if you put the aerial directly into the TV, by passing the box?

If you can try this and let us have the outcome and box type, we can then offer further assistance.
